FBI documents recently released through the National Archives have brought attention to a reported UFO sighting involving officers from the Anoka Police Department. According to the records, at approximately 1:17 a.m. on the night of the sighting, three employees of the Anoka Police Department reported observing an unusual object in the sky near the western horizon. Witness statements describe the object as resembling "six hula-hoops with lights around each loop," akin to an orbital diagram of an atom. One officer estimated the object's size to be comparable to that of an SUV or school bus. A witness remarked, "The object was a sphere shape. We saw red, blue, green, and white light emitting from the object. Best I can describe is a 'tie dye' shirt in motion."
